Rosemary Baptist Church is looking for a part-time Youth Ministry Director. Our ideal candidate will be gifted in teaching youth, have the ability to oversee the youth program, and can work with our gifted volunteers.

• Develop and implement a vision for the youth ministry.
• Consult with church leaders in planning, conducting, and evaluating a youth ministry and enlisting appropriate volunteers.
• Advise in the use of program materials and equipment needed by the youth and children’s ministries. 
• Plan special projects, trips, and retreats as necessary.
• Coordinate youth outreach.
• Serve as a member of the Church Council.
• Be available to counsel youth and their families during times of crisis.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

Principal Function – To provide childcare for children of members and visitors. 

• Provide childcare for children of members and visitors.
• Provide nourishment as directed by parents.
• Change clothing as necessary for the care and comfort of the children.
• Supervise children’s play and activities to ensure the safety of the children.
• Discipline children appropriately, but corporal punishment is not allowed.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
• Personnel should be on time to begin work and remain until the last child has been returned to the parent or guardian.

The Church Nursery is provided for the care of children during scheduled and special worship activities or for times of preparation for these activities. The normal working days will Sunday and Thursday. Work on Sundays will begin at 9:00 a.m. and on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.

This is a Church sponsored nursery and we need the attire to be presentable and in good taste. The parents need to feel that the dress and atmosphere should be appropriate of being in God’s house. No perfumes or dangling jewelry should be worn because of allergic reactions by some children. Fingernails should be trimmed and clean.

Oral medications or injections will not be given by the nursery personnel.

Nursery personnel will be aware of emergency procedures.

These positions are considered part-time personnel and not eligible for vacation, holiday and sick pay.

The nursery personnel shall work under the supervision of the Nursery Committee and Ministerial Staff.
