ANNOUNCEMENTS…

  • Our Children's Corner on Sunday mornings is designed for 6th graders and down.  We invite all our children to participate.   Older children's observations and input are helpful and key to the overall understanding of this special time of worship for the children.  Please help us by sending your children from the ages of 6th grade and down to participate in our time together.
  • Please join us for Bible Study on Sunday mornings.  We have classes for every age from birth up.  We have a fellowship time with coffee, doughnuts, and other treats in the Fellowship Center beginning at 9:15.  Sunday school begins at 9:45.  Come join us for Bible Study, fellowship, and friendship.
  • We have an exciting opportunity to tell the community about Rosemary Baptist Church with our Pay it Forward Campaign. We invite you the next time you are in a drive-thru to "pay it forward" and leave one of our cards behind. It is a great way to tell our community about our church. Cards are available in the church office, by asking a staff member, and on the greeter station in the hallway.
  • Food donations during the month of October will go to the Sheriff’s Food Pantry in Halifax.
  • Sunday, October 22 – Celebration of Holy Communion during worship
  • Sunday, October 29 - Harvest Festival – 4:30 – 7:30 PM – There will be games, pumpkin carving and decorating, cupcake decorating, and food…fun for all!
  • Bags of individually wrapped candy are needed for the Harvest Festival.
  • Volunteers are needed to provide snack suppers for our youth (grades 7 – 12) on Sunday evenings. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board outside Joy’s office.  Thanks for your help!

Cookbook

There are many wonderful cooks in our church family and the suggestion has come up that we develop a cookbook.  The cookbook will be a great way to share your favorite recipes with others at Rosemary and throughout our community.  The proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will be used to support some of our many mission projects.

Natalie and Myra Robertson have agreed to lead this project.  We are asking you to share as many of your family’s favorite recipes as you can.  Remember all of the many delicious foods you have prepared and shared over the years for Homecoming, at Christmas or any other occasion would be a wonderful contribution to the recipe collection.  Write those recipes down (we want them all) and give them to Natalie or Myra or drop them off in the church office.  You can email them to Myra at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or Joy at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or give them to any member of the church staff.
